Dr. Forbes uses digital imaging and clinical testing to confirm the diagnosis and assess the complexity of the canal system. The treatment plan is explained in detail before proceeding.
The tooth is completely numbed, and a rubber dam is placed to isolate the treatment area. Sedation is available for patients who want additional comfort.
Under magnification, Dr. Forbes removes the infected pulp tissue, cleans the canal system, and shapes the canals to accept the filling material. Advanced instruments ensure thorough debridement.
The cleaned canals are filled and sealed with biocompatible material. A crown is typically placed over the treated tooth to restore its strength and protect it from fracture.
