How They Work
Small titanium implants are placed in the jawbone at strategic positions. Once integrated, special attachments on the implants connect with corresponding fittings in the denture base. The denture snaps firmly into place, providing retention that suction and adhesives simply cannot match. Yet the denture remains removable for cleaning and overnight soaking.

Dr. Forbes assesses your jawbone density, gum health, and existing denture situation. A treatment plan is designed specifying the number and location of implants.
Two to four implants are placed in the jawbone under local anesthesia or sedation. The procedure is typically completed in a single visit.
After the implants integrate with the bone over several months, abutments with attachment mechanisms are placed on the implants.
Your existing denture is modified to accept the attachments, or a new denture is fabricated with the snap-on fittings built in. The final fit is adjusted for comfort and stability.
