What Invisalign Corrects

Dr. Forbes scans your mouth using digital technology, photographs your teeth, and evaluates your bite. This data is used to create a precise three-dimensional model of your mouth.
Using the digital model, Dr. Forbes designs your complete treatment plan, mapping the movement of each tooth from its current position to its ideal alignment. You see a preview of the projected result.
Your alignment trays are custom-fabricated based on the digital plan. Each set of trays represents the next stage of movement in the sequence.
You wear each set of trays for approximately two weeks, 20 to 22 hours per day. The trays are removed for eating, brushing, and flossing. Each new set applies gentle pressure to advance the alignment.
Dr. Forbes monitors your progress at regular intervals, ensuring the teeth are tracking according to plan. Adjustments are made as needed to keep the treatment on course.
When the alignment is complete, a retainer is provided to maintain the new position of your teeth. The result is a straighter, healthier smile achieved without a single wire.
