Digital imaging, 3D scans, and a thorough oral examination determine bone density, implant positioning, and the overall treatment plan. If bone grafting is needed, it is addressed first.
Using surgical guides created from your digital scans, Dr. Forbes places the titanium implant with precision. Sedation is available for complete comfort throughout the procedure.
Over three to six months, the implant fuses with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. This creates the stable foundation that makes implants so durable.
Once integration is confirmed, an abutment is attached to the implant. Detailed impressions are taken and sent to the ceramist for fabrication of your custom restoration.
The finished crown, bridge, or prosthetic is placed and adjusted for perfect fit, bite, and appearance. The result is a restoration that looks and functions like a natural tooth.
